The RMHC owns four (4) homes in the Virginia, Chisholm, and Hibbing areas. The homes are divided into apartments ranging from one to four bedrooms. There are 17 apartments available. The apartments are rented to clients of the Center to provide clean and safe community housing for mentally ill clients who have a difficult time finding suitable housing. The RMHC manages two rental assistance programs. Persons with serious mental illness can apply for help with first or last month deposits, damage deposits and ongoing rental assistance through the Shelter Plus program.

The Perpich apartment building opened in April of 2007.  There are 27 furnished apartments available to low income residents.  The Perpich apartments are located next to the RMHC's Perpich building in the old Cobb-Cook school in Hibbing MN.  There are efficiency, one bedroom and a few two bedroom apartments available.  For inquires, call: (218) 263-9237.
