Day Treatment

This program is for men and women ages 18 and over who are struggling with a mental illness. Group offerings vary throughout the week in an effort to assist clients to break old habits, change destructive thoughts, and develop life skills. Participants are given positive reinforcements, support, feedback, and education. The goals are to assist these individuals in maintaining their daily living skills at the highest level possible, to decrease the specific symptoms produced by their mental illness and to decrease or eliminate the need for hospitalization. Examples of groups are: Goals Group, Relaxation, Medication Education, Chemical Dependency, Victims of Abuse, Relationships, Co-dependency, and Leisure Education. In Virginia, call (218) 741-4714. In Hibbing, call (218) 263-9237.
